The SkinD.R.™ Machine dimensions and weight are
as follows:

Transporting the SkinD.R.™Machine
Question: Quite a few persons have
asked if the SkinD.R.™ Machine is able to be
transported via airplane. Some are thinking of
purchasing the machines from our training course
and would like to bring them home immediately.
Do you know if people have done this in the
past? What are your thoughts?
Answer: The machine can be
shipped in the original box and packing via
the airlines, however, each airline has
different rules about baggage, shipping, etc.
The client needs to inquire with the airline
about their policies for shipping, including
covering damages, should they occur. If
available, the client may need to insure the
machine as well. Baggage handlers and the
airline systems are very rough. I would not
recommend it. An alternate method would be to
take the machine home with the client on the
aircraft as carry on. They would need to
purchase a roller bag that conforms to
carry-on size and fits the machine. They would
then be able to keep the machine with them in
transit; however, this then leaves the
question of what to do with the original
packing. The box and packing material should
be kept for the warranty period in the
unlikely event that the machine needs to be
returned for some reason to us. The optimal
method, when it comes to shipping methods,
would be to ship via a reputable shipper (e.g.
FedEx). It should be shipped in the original
box and packing material. The foam inserts
(packing material) must be intact and not
damaged so as to keep the machine secure in
transit. Also, make sure the package is
insured for its value.

Broken Bulbs
Question: One of the machines we
received recently arrived with a broken lamp.
It is the large lamp. Should we send the
whole machine back for service? What is your
policy?
Answer: It is rare, however,
on occasion bulbs get broken during shipping.
Rather than risk further damage to your machine
in shipping, we prefer to send a replacement
bulb out to you. It is a fairly
straightforward process to change out a bulb.

Cleaning your SkinD.R.™ Machine
Question: After each use,
what is the proper way to "clean" the machine.
Also, what is the blue microfiber cloth used
for?
Answer: Prior to storing your
machine for it's next use you should use a moist
towel (such as the blue cloth) and a non-harsh
cleaning solution (mild antibacterial soap and
water or wipes) to wipe down the exterior of the
machine.
You should then use a dry blue cloth to
clean the magnification window (viewfinder),
both on the outside and inside. You may then use
the blue cloth to wipe down the machine's
interior mirror and bulbs.
Our "Lint Grabber" cleaning cloth is made of new
technology micro-fiber which "catches" all of
the dust and lint particles in a very effective
manner. The cloth is washable and may be reused
many times.
